The Glasgow Climbing Centre Terms and Conditions

Agreement between ‘the client’ and ‘The Glasgow Climbing Centre’ – By checking the box on the booking form, the client accepts that they have read and agree to these terms.

We need a minimum of 48 hrs notice to change  or cancel or move a booking  .

Climbing activities should not be undertaken by anyone who has/is:

  • Under 7 years old (this is applicable to ALL standard sessions i.e. Group Taster, Birthday Parties, Rock RatzClimbatize etc.)
  • Pregnant
  • A heart complaint or spinal injury
  • Any medical condition that may be exacerbated by climbing, if you do please inform your instructor before the session starts

    ·  In the case of our 1 hour sessions (i.e. Family Taster ) we do allow participants as young as 4 years old providing that a parent/guardian remains within the premises at all times and in some cases actually participates in the activity.

Please note that,

“The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”

The Glasgow Climbing Centre takes responsibility for providing facilities for clients’ enjoyment of the climbing activities. Whilst all practical steps have been taken to minimise the risk involved, indoor climbing is a dangerous activity. Neither the operating company nor its employees shall be liable for any loss or injury arising from participation in activities within the centre. Nothing contained within these terms shall affect any statutory rights.

Please forward the above information to the parent/guardians of all group participants.

When making a booking on behalf of a group, the client must be aware that each participant must either sign their own declaration or have a declaration signed on their behalf by a parent or guardian when they arrive at the centre. It is therefore the client’s responsibility to ensure that each participant has read these terms beforehand.

The Glasgow Climbing Centre will not be held liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal property whilst on the premises

Privacy Policy

The Glasgow Climbing Centre endeavor to ensure the client’s privacy at all times, and as such only store essential information about the booking on our servers. All payment information is collected by our secure third-party payment partner, Sage Pay   .
