Back for it’s 5th iteration. Pitch Black 2024 is a 12 hour endurance climbing competition through
the night. Climbing teams of 2 rack up high scores by the number of routes climbed, with harder/
longer routes awarded more points. The competition is lead climbing only and costs £40 per pair.
Nutritional support in the form of 3 amazing dishes and snacks from the Flavour Bomb Kitchen are
available an additional £25 per person.
-Speed and tactics often beat strength and high grades. Podium places have been won by team
climbing routes graded 4 – 5+ (lots of them!)
-Long periods of darkness with climbing done by headtorch (you will need to provide your own)
-Meals and snacks provided throughout the night by the Flavour Bomb Kitchen
